Music. Film. And a special night at The ABGB.

Project ATX6 is a music / film collaboration featuring 6 selected musicians from Austin, Texas, as they travel to international music festivals.

Successful trips: https://vimeo.com/140265680

And now, the project is coming back to the ABGB for a night of music, filming… and fundraising. They’re counting on you to come out and support spreading Austin’s music around the world. So, join us for a great night and a great cause.

Elsa Cross is a favorite of ours. Her big, soul-shaking voice is out front of dangerous mix of Alt-Country and Rock n Roll. She likes to drink our IPA, Superliner.

“Elsa Cross plays David Lynch’s Rockabilly” -Austin American Statesman

Jana Horn fronts Reservations a three-piece rock band from Austin, Tx. Horn’s melancholy lyrics and a reverb-heavy slide and detailed guitar layers create a wondrous spacious sound. The band released ‘Taking Time’ earlier this year. Jana will be playing here for the very first time. We look forward to hearing her here, and seeing if she likes our beer.

Born in Strong, Maine. Living in Austin, Texas.

“Elsa Cross plays David Lynch’s kind of rockabilly.”
– Austin American-Statesman

“Imagine the darkest of scenarios enveloping you in eerily beautiful tones, as though Johnny Cash or perhaps Tom Waits had a sister.”
– Laurie Gallardo, KUTX 98.9 Austin

“Elsa Cross should have been touring with Johnny Cash in his American recording days.”
– Performer Magazine

“There is a controlled ferocity to her tone and lyrics, even in the music’s softest moments, and the songs would seem equally appropriate if performed on a horse ranch or in a Hell’s Kitchen lounge.”
– The Wire

“Eddie Spaghetti and The Reverend Horton Heat would both fall in love with this woman.”
– Spotlight Magazine
