Palomino Shakedown is the result of the natural evolution of Austin Honky Tonk heavyweights Horse Opera.The line up that came together at the end of 2014, organically began combining styles and sounds in a new direction, and it became clear that it was now more than a country band, and deserved its own chance, its own name.

San Antonio, Texas native, Rick Broussard, has for over thirty years proved himself a gifted song-writer and guitarist as well as a riveting front man. With eight cds to his credit, Broussard and his fire-breathing band continue to write, record, and perform the music they love. Front man, song writer, and founder of Two Hoots and a Holler (established 1984).
