Save the date, and say ‘Hell Yes’ to joining us for It’s My Park Day, the biggest city-wide volunteer event – thousands of volunteers working to improve parks and greenbelts throughout the city.

Last time out, Austin Parks Foundation reports 3,200 volunteers at nearly 100 projects city-wide, putting in over 10,000 hours of labor. That’s equivalent to 7 park maintenance employees working full-time for a whole year. All told, including labor, this one day represented an investment of over a quarter of a million dollars for Austin’s parks.
