Hell Yes Project: Ghisallo Cycling Initiative Marathon Station
at The ABGB
Sunday, February 17
Show 10:00AM

From Our Friends At Ghisallo Cycling Initiative:

We are in need of 30-40 Aid Station Volunteers!

As one of Austin Marathon’s Charity Partners we run one of the Aid Stations (where runners get water) during the event. We have our captain and co-captains set, but need A LOT of general volunteers who help with set-up, water hand-ups, and tear down. It is an easy and fun opportunity, and is easier and more fun the more people we have on-site.

Our station is at mile 20 and will be located at at Conley-Guerrero Senior Activity Center (https://goo.gl/maps/j5HpmKFZCNC2) in Central East Austin, where we have our Golden Rollers (http://goldenrollers.org) senior tricycle program.

Here is the site to sign-up to volunteer for our Aid Station at Mile 20:

The main Event Dog site doesn’t let you sign-up for partial shifts, and many people prefer a shorter than 6hrs shift on a Sunday morning. So, like last year we will internally split this into two shifts, 7am-10:30am and 10am-1:30pm.

SHIFTS:
Full (6hrs, 7:00am – 1:00pm)
First (3.5hrs, 7:00am – 10:30am; set-up and hand-ups)
Second (3.5hrs, 10:00am – 1:30pm; hand-ups and tear-down)

We will be providing breakfast for the 1st shift, lunch for the 2nd shift, and snacks for everyone! If you are interested helping with the Aid Station, please sign up on this Google Form in addition to the Event Dog one so we can plan for the two as well as full shift needs:

If people can work the “Full (6hrs, 7am – 1pm)” shift that would be greatly appreciated!
